I baked yesterday.
Million Dollar pound cake (a good old Southern Living recipe)
and Rosemary shortbread.
Mind you, these were not for consumption at home. Coty is sticking to a no-sweets policy for a while and I have cut way back, post holidays, on wheat and sugar. Our church women enjoyed these with tea after our worship time last night. One friend remarked, on taking her first bite of rosemary shortbread, that it was like eating breakfast sausage casserole without the sausage and without the casserole ... and sweet! She wasn't expecting the rosemary but she liked it. I love this recipe and Joel is very happy that there were leftovers.
