Not quite ...

but I just have to show you!

There is still one little detail not quite finished.  I'll be sure and show that to you next week, because it's taking shape nicely and I love what it adds to the quilt.  But I just couldn't wait to show you the whole thing - pieced, quilted and bound.  Thomas and Kay's wedding quilt - each time I look at it, I love it even more!

Missy - thanks!

Kandyce - I can't wait to get that sari fabric. I am SO ready to start another project, though I still have a small unfinished quilt that I am hoping to machine quilt myself.

Bonnie sent me this link so I could see your quilt. It's gorgeous! I've just started quilting so I LOVE to see what other women have done. Is that your treddle machine at the top of the blog? Is that what you sew on?

Gail,
Thanks for your comment. The machine in the blog header is one I took a picture of in India in the summer of 2009. We were visiting a village sewing project and that was one of their machines. But I do sew mostly on my grandmother's little old black Singer machine that looks sort of similar. Hope you enjoy your quilting endeavors as much as I've enjoyed mine so far!
