September is birthday month around here.  When the kids were little, we never tried to start school til after birthday week.  Matthew's is September 1, Erin's the 8th, and Andrew's the 9th.  And now, we have another September birthday -  Clara's is the 2nd.

So, I've been doing a LOT of birthday baking, sending, calling, and a bit of celebrating.  Of course, Matthew, Erin, and Clara are all far away, so their birthday goodies went by mail.  Some of Andrew's did, too, but then he came home last Sunday so we could celebrate in person.  So glad he could come!

Sorry for the grainy picture.  It was a little dark.  No, he's not 2.  He's 21!  Two tens on the French Silk pie and 1 one on the Key Lime Pie.  Thank you very much, Pioneer Woman, for the recipes.  The French Silk pie was especially incredible!  I even made the chocolate curls.

Andrew with Thomas, his closest big, but for a long time now smaller, brother.  Happy birthday, sweetheart. We love you to the stars and back and then some.
