Bapatla diary 12

It all started with this...

...a simple trim for Jonathan. Kandyce decided he needed to be "groomed" a little so one afternoon she gave him a trim on the porch.

Nelson came along and asked if we knew how to use electric clippers. I am, of course, a veteran of electric clippers. So, Nelson brought out a brand new set. One of the boys, who for some reason was not at school, was drafted into hair-cutting demonstration service.

Isn't he cute? He and Jonathan were the first. Next, plans were made for us to cut the hair of ALL the boys and girls at the orphanage. A grand hair-chopping Saturday. To come!

in my defense, j decided his hair needed to be trimmed. the eyebrows, however, were my idea. :)

Gotcha, kandyce. My bad. Aren't you glad he got that haircut. If not for that, we might not have had such an epic hair chopping experience!

I love that......beauty in the ordinary and I need my haircut so I
imagined how good those kids felt.
