was a lovely Mother's Day. Family time - my mom and dad and sister and her family came for lunch and stayed for the lovely afternoon. We ate good food, sat around the pool, watched bluebirds in and out of the nest box feeding their babies, and just relaxed. I even sat on the porch swing and knitted for awhile. I got to talk to E in NY and J in Egypt. K called, too. Sweet, sweet voice mail. Far-flung children called home and made their mother feel special.
And the boys that are home made this video for the day. They were gone for awhile Saturday evening, ostensibly to check out a location for a video they want to make this month. In reality, they were busy making this video for me. They make me laugh...a lot!
Hope you mothers had a happy Mother's Day and enjoyed the laughter, love, and appreciation of your children.

i am currently watching this at work... i'm only through andrew's fat/ failure story, and i'm laughing so hard i'm crying. :)
